Default Values

Use Conditions > Default Values to prefill fields before the respondent answers. Map each existing field’s internal name to one scalar value (text, number, boolean, or compatible choice). Defaults are not validation and are not secret; respondents may edit them unless the target is otherwise protected. Test empty defaults, incompatible choices, and whether a later rule intentionally replaces the initial value.
